This snowflake brooch isn 't completely beaded, since the beaded tree patterns are sewed for the felt snowflake. Nonetheless it didn influence my decision on naming it beaded snowflake brooch. I like snowflake so much! There 's 2 traditional elements - snowflake and tree - with this brooch, and that i used red and green seed beads to make it more festive on Christmas.

Materials and tools to make a beaded snowflake brooch:

2mm Glass Round Seed Beads, Transparent, Red
3mm Glass Round Seed Beads, Transparent, Green
11mm Resin Button, Red
18mm Brass Brooch Finding, Round, Platinum (Not Shown)
Felt, White
Sewing Thread, Green
Needle
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun (Not Shown)
Pencil (Not Shown)

Steps to make a beaded snowflake brooch with felt?

1: come up with a beaded snowflake

1st, trace a template of snowflake on a round white felt with a pencil since the picture shows. Or trace a snowflake pattern you want
2nd, remove two snowflake shapes from white felt in line with the template
3rd, take one snowflake shape, sew a fairly easy tree shape with green seed beads using similar thread on each petal in the snowflake
4th, intersperse a red seed bead on top of each tree branch and secure with glue or red thread.

2: add embellishments and brooch finding

1st, glue a red button in the center in the snowflake with covering the foot of beaded trees
2nd, cover the rear of this snowflake shape together with the other plain one and secure with glue. Glue a brooch finding at back.
